ALDO’S BLOCK Shiraz 2005
Winemaker: Brian Light
General Characteristics: Dry, medium to full body
Tasting Notes: Colour brick red. Nose shows ripe berry fruit and oak notes with some bottle aged development. The palate is full bodied and round with a clean tannin finish. Some earthy Shiraz flavours are evidenced on the palate.
Growing Area: McLaren Vale, South Australia.
Grape Varieties: Shiraz
Maturation: Aged in 100% American oak (mainly new oak) for between 12 and 16 months.
Alcohol: 14.5% by volume


ALDO’S BLOCK Shiraz 2006
Winemaker: Brian Light
General Characteristics: Dry, medium to full body
Tasting Notes: Colour is a brick red. Nose shows some earthy notes with berry fruit behind. The palate is of medium weight with very soft tannins making the wine ready to drink now.
Growing Area: McLaren Vale, South Australia.
Grape Varieties: Shiraz
Maturation: Aged in 100% American oak (mainly new oak) for between 12 and 16 months.
Alcohol: 15% by volume
