Tasting Notes – Cabernet Sauvignon
ALDO’S BLOCK Cabernet Sauvignon 2004
Winemaker: Brian Light
General Characteristics: Dry, medium to full body
Tasting Notes: Colour has now developed to brick red. Ripe Cabernet fruit shows bottle development. Very rich full flavour, balanced with a firm structured finish. Decant at least an hour before serving.
Growing Area: McLaren Vale, South Australia.
Grape Varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon
Maturation: Aged in a complex blend of generally newer oaks (80% French, 20% American), for 15 to 18 months.
Alcohol: 14.5% by volume

General Characteristics: Dry, medium to full body
Tasting Notes: Colour is brick red. Nose has some Cabernet leafy notes while the palate is medium weight with a firm astringency.
Growing Area: McLaren Vale, South Australia.
Grape Varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon
Maturation: Aged in a complex blend of generally newer oaks (80% French, 20% American), for 15 to 18 months.
Alcohol: 14.5% by volume


ALDO’S BLOCK Cabernet Sauvignon 2006
Winemaker: Brian Light
General Characteristics: Dry, medium to full body
Tasting Notes: Colour is brick red. A lifted ripe plum Cabernet fruit nose with a hint of leafiness and some aged notes. A rich full flavoured palate with ripe Cabernet fruit flavours and with a balanced tannin finish.
Growing Area: McLaren Vale, South Australia.

Maturation: Aged in a complex blend of generally newer oaks (80% French, 20% American), for 15 to 18 months.
